Given :

Radius of base of cylinder = 14cm=r

Height of cylinder =40cm=h

Curved surface area of cylinder =

2\pi \times rh

2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 14 \times 40 \\ = 2 \times 22 \times 2 \times 40 \\ = 22 \times 160 = 3520

3520sq.cm

Total surface area =

2\pi \times r(r + \times h) \\ = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 14 \: (14 + 40) \\ = 2 \times 22 \times 2 \times 14 \: (54)

=66528sq cm

Diameter =radius *2

14*2=28cm
