Find the coordinates of point which divides the line joining the points 16 and 43 in the ratio 1 is to 2

i guess the question is wrong there should be two pair of co ordinates

For example

(4,5) and (6,4). (just for example this is not for the sum )

and ratio 1:2 be m and n respectively

so by section formula we can find the co ordinates of point which divides the line like (x,y)

the formula is

x= mx2+nx1 my2+ny1

-------------- , ------------------

m+n m+n

and similarly for y co ordinate
