Points of trisection are those points which divide a line segment AB in the ratio of 1:2 or 2:1.
From the formula - The point which divides a line segment AB in the ratio m:n is given by [(mx₂+nx₁)/(m+n),(my₂+ny₁)/(m+n)] whre A=(x₁,y₁),B=(x₂,y₂)
So points of trisection are [(x₂+2x₁)/3,(y₂+2y₁)/3] and [(2x₂+x₁)/3,(2y₂+y₁)/3]
