Answer:Given – y = 2x − 4

Find the Y intercept -

At x = 0

y = 2(0) − 4

y = −4

(0,−4)

Find X intercept -

At y = 0

2x – 4 = 0

2x – 4 + 4 = 0 + 4

2x = 4

(2x/2)= 4/2

x = 2

(2,0)

So , this graph will intersect X-axis at (2,0)and will intersect Y-axis at (0,-4)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given – y = 2x − 4

Find the Y intercept -

At x = 0

y = 2(0) − 4

y = −4

(0,−4)

Find X intercept -

At y = 0

2x – 4 = 0

2x – 4 + 4 = 0 + 4

2x = 4

(2x/2)= 4/2

x = 2

(2,0)

So , this graph will intersect X-axis at (2,0)and will intersect Y-axis at (0,-4)

Here is the graph
