Find the coordinates of the point of which the line 4x + 3y = 12 will intersect the y-axis.​

Equations given :-

$4x+3y=12\\x=0$

Required to find :-

Coordinates at which the two axes meet.

Step 1 -  Let equation 2 be the solution

Equation 2 is a solution.

Step 2 -  substitute 2 in 1

$4(0)+3y=12$

Step 3 -  simplify

$0+3y=12$

$3y=12\\y=4$

Step 4 -  note the coordinates

Get it in term of $(x,y)$ .

$x=0\\y=4\\(0,4)$

∴ $(0,4)$  are the required coordinates.
