the abssicsa of the point is....

x =  \frac{2 \times (4) + 3( - 1)}{2 + 3}  \\  =  > x =   \frac{5}{5}  = 1 \\  \\

and the ordinate is ....

y =  \frac{2( - 3) + 3(7)}{3 + 2}  \\  =  > y =  \frac{15}{5}  = 3

therefore the coordinates is =(1,3)
