as given m:n=1:2 therefore m=1 &n=2

let x & y are coordinates of that point so ,

x = (1×4)+(2×1)/ (1+2) = 4+2 / 3 = 2 .

y= (1×3) + (2×6 )/( 1+2 ) = 3+12 /3 = 15 /3=5

so x= 2& y= 5 so, ( 2,5 ) is required point
