first of all we have to find equation of line segment joining A (-3, -7) and B(3, 5).

slope of line AB = (5 + 7)/(3 + 3) = 12/6 = 2

now, equation of line AB : (y - y1) = m(x - x1)

here m is the slope of line AB and (x1,y1) is the point passing through line AB .
so, here (x1,y1) = (-3,-7) or (3,5)

we assumed (x1,y1) = (3,5)
now, equation of line AB : (y -5) = 2(x - 3)
=> 2x - 6 - y + 5 = 0
=> 2x - y - 1 = 0
therefore , equation of line AB : 2x - y - 1 = 0----(1)

and equation of Y - axis : x = 0 ----(2)

solving equations (1) and (2),

2x - y - 1 = 0, put x = 0
y = -1

hence, required point is (0, -1)
