Step-by-step explanation:

let P and Q ne the points of trisection AB

AP=PQ =QB

1=1=1

P divides the the internally in 1:2 so,

applying section formula=(m1 x2 + m2 x1/m1+m2, m1 y2+m2 y1/m1+m2)

(1*-4+2*-2/1+2,1*-6+2*-3/1+2)

-4+(-4)/3,-6+(-6)/3

-8/3,-12/3

P=(-8/3,-4)

then, for Q apply mid point formula (x1+x2/2,y1+y2/2)

-8/4-4/2,-4 -6/2

the answer comes

Q= (-10/3,-4)

hope this is correct and it will help you
