Find the coordination of the points which divides the line joining the points ( 1,6) and (4,3) in the ratio 1:2​

coordinates ot points x =(mx2 +nx1) / m+n. which is equal to (4+2)/ 3 = 6/3 = 2. now y = (my2 + ny1) / m+n which is equal to (3+12)/3 = 15/3= 5. and hence coordinates of the points are (2,5)
