It is a trisection...So it means we have to find Midpoints...that is

x= 1-3/2 , y= -2-4/2

x= (-1) , y = (-3)..

Therefore the coordinates are (-1,-3)..

Answer:

x1 + x2/2 , y1 + y2 / 2

1+(-3) / 2                    ,  -2 + (-4)/2

1-3/2 = -2/2 = -1            -2 - 4/2

x = -1                               -6/2 = -3

y = -3
