Given:

The Floor length is 8.1 m and its breadth is 6.6 m.

This is to be covered by a carpet of 70 cm width i.e. 0.7 m width.

The length of the carpet used will be (the area of the floor) / width of the carpet.

Therefore, area of the floor = 8.1 m * 6.6 m = 53.46 m²

Now, the length of the carpet used = 53.46 m² / 0.7 m = 76.37 m

Now, the cost of covering the floor with this carpet per metre is rupees 20,

Therefore, the required cost is (76.37 m) * (20 rupees) = 1527.4 rupees.
