cultivating the field = area = 35x18 = 630 m²
cost for cultivating = 20x630 = ₹1260

fencing the field = perimeter = 2(35+18) = 106m
cost for fencing = 15x106 = ₹ 1590

For calculating the cost to cultivate the field, we need to find out its area.

As the field is rectangular, the formula for its area:

Area = L*B

        = 35*18

        = 630

Now, multiplying the cost given for cultivating per square meter with the area of the field:

      630*20

      = 12,600 Rs.

For fencing the field, we need to find out its perimeter

Formula for calculating the perimeter of a rectangle is:

2(L+B)

= 2(35+18)

= 106 m

For finding the cost of fencing, multiply the cost given with the perimeter

= 106*15

= 1,590 Rs.
