Given cuboid dimensions
Length = 8m
Breadth = 6m and
Height = 3m
Rate per m² = Rs30
Total cost = Total surface area × 30
⇒2(lb + bh + hl) ×30
⇒2[(8×6) + (6×3) + (3×8)] ×30
⇒2(48+18+ 24) ×30
⇒2(90)×30
⇒180×30
∴Rs5400 is the total cost to dig the pit

valar: but the answer is 4320
6points: i think we are digging a hole so,it needs volume
yasummu: but the question says Rs30 per m square not m cube
6points: i think its his typing mistake right valar??
yasummu: but... ok check it valar
yasummu: but most probably it will be m square
6points: it can be m cube (my thinking)

Answer:Rs. 4320

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, l=8m, b=6m & h=3m

Volume of the cubiodal pit

=(lbh)

=(8*6*3) cubic meter

=144 cubic meter

Cost of digging 1 cubic meter =Rs. 30

Cost of digging 144 cubic meter =Rs. (144*30)=Rs. 4320
