We know that,

Perimteter of rectangle = 2 ( Length + Breadth )

• Length = 260 m
• Width = 175 m

Perimeter = 2 ( 260 + 175 )

= 2 ( 435 )

= 870

Perimeter of rectangular field = 870 m

• Cost of fencing per meter = Rs. 40

Cost of fencing for 870 m = 870 × 40

= 34800
