Find the cost of fencing a rectangular field 34m long and 18m wide at 2 50 per meter.what is the cost of cultivating the field at rs 4.25 per squre meter

Given :
Length of rectangular field = 34 m
Breadth = 18 m

Find the perimeter of rectangular field :-

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)
= 2(34 + 18) m
= 2 × 52 m
= 104 m

Find the cost of fencing the rectangular field :-

1 m = Rs 2.50
104 m = Rs (2.50 × 104) = Rs 260

Find the area of rectangular field :-

Area of rectangle = (Length × Breadth) sq. units
= (34 × 18) m²
= 612 m²


Find the cost of cultivating the field at Rs 4.25/m² :-

1 m² = Rs 4.25
612 m² = Rs (4.25 × 612) = Rs 2601


Hence,
The cost of fencing the rectangular field = Rs 260
Cost of cultivating the rectangular field = Rs 2601
