find the cost of fencing a rectangular field at rupees 48 per metre the length and the breadth of the feet are 25cm 40cm respectively​​

Given, length of field = 40cm ; breadth of the field = 25cm

          cost of fencing = ₹48/m

∴ perimeter = 2(L+B) = 2 (40+25) = 2 × 65 = 130cm

as, 1m = 100cm , ∴ 130cm = 1.3m (perimeter)

∴ cost of fencing of 1m = ₹48

∴ cost of fencing of 1.3m = ₹(48 × 1.3) = ₹ 62.40 (Ans)

∴ COST OF FENCING THE FIELD IS ₹ 62.40.
