• A Rectangular Park with Length 450 m and Breadth 300 m

• Cost of fencing per m = ₹ 32

\large\sf{{{{To  \:   \: Find}}}}

• The cost of fencing the Rectangular Park

\large\sf{{{{Formula \:  Used}}}}

• Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 × ( Length + Breadth )

\large\sf{{{{Solution}}}}

To find the cost of fencing, firstly we have to find out the Perimeter of the Rectangular Park, so let's do it!

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 × ( Length + Breadth )

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 × ( 450 + 300 )

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 × 750

Perimeter of Rectangle = 1500 m

So, now we have the Perimeter of the Rectangular Park, let's find out the cost of fencing it then!

1500 × 32 = ₹ 48000

Cost of fencing the Rectangular Park is ₹ 48000

Important Formulas :

Perimeter of Square = 4 × side

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 × ( Length + Breadth )

Perimeter of Triangle = Sum of all sides

Area of Square = side × side

Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth

Volume of Cube = side × side × side

Volume of Cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height

Note : We can also write the formula Area of Square = side × side as Area of Square = ( side )² and Volume of Cube = side × side × side as Volume of Cube = ( side )³

Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle- 2(l+b)

= 2(450+300)

=2(750)

=1500m

cost of 1 metre= 32₹

so cost of a 1500 metre= 1500*32

= 48000
