and breadth b = 125m

We need to find the perimeter of rectangular park ,

Here , we know that ,

Perimeter of park = 2 ( l + b)

= 2(175+ 125)

= 2 (300)

= 2×300

= 600m

Length of wire required = perimeter of park

= 600m

Step 2 :

Now ,

Cost of fencing 1m wire = Rs.12

So , the Cost of the fencing 600m wire = 600 × 2

= Rs. 7200

Hence, cost will be Rs. 7200 to fence the park.
