EVALUATION

Here the area of the square field = 2500 m²

So the side of the square field

$= \sf{ \sqrt{2500} } \: \: metre$

$\sf{ = 50 \: metre}$

Hence the perimeter of the square field

= ( 4 × 50 ) metre

= 200 metre

Now it is given that each meter of wire costs ₹ 13

∴ The total cost of fencing

= ₹ ( 200 × 13 )

= ₹ 2600
