GIVEN:

  • The sides of the triangular garden = 20 m, 25m and 5000 cm
  • Cost of fencing = Rs. 20 per metre

TO FIND:

  • What is the cost of fencing of the triangular garden ?

SOLUTION:

We have given that, a triangular garden with sides 20 m, 25 m and 5000 cm

Firstly,

convert 5000 cm into m

➝ 100 cm = 1 m

5000 cm = \sf{\cancel\dfrac{ 5000}{100}}

 50 m

We know that, the formula for finding the perimeter of triangular garden is:-

\large\bf{\star \:  Perimeter = (Side + side + side)\: \star}

According to question:-

On putting the values in the formula, we get

\rm{\dashrightarrow Perimeter = (20 + 25 + 50) \: m }

\bf{\dashrightarrow \star \: Perimeter = 95 \: m \: \star}

If the cost of fencing of triangular garden is Rs. 20 per m

\rm{\dashrightarrow 1 \: m = Rs. \: 20}

\rm{\dashrightarrow 95 \: m = 20  \times 95 }

\bf{\dashrightarrow \star \: 95 \: m = Rs. \: 1900 \: \star}

Hence, the cost of fencing of triangular garden is Rs. 1900
