=> x = √100

=> x = √10 × 10

=> x = 10

= 3x
= 3 × 10
= 30 m



• Now, perimeter of the rectangular garden

= 2 (length + breadth)

= 2 (40 + 30)

= 2 × 70

= 140 m



• Now, cost of fencing 1 m = 7.50 Rs.

So, cost of fencing 140 m

= 140 × 7.5
