GIVEN :

• Rate of levelling the ground = Rs. 5/ m² . Sides of triangle = 90 m, 70 m, 70m.

TO FIND :

• The cost of levelling the ground.

SOLUTION :

→ Perimeter = Sum of all sides

90 m + 70 m + 70 m

→ 90 m + 140 m

→ 230 m

▸ Semi perimeter (s) = perimeter/2

→ 230/2

→ 115 m

Area = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

[115(115-90)(115-70)(115 - 70)]

[V115 x 25 x 45 x 45]

→ √5821875

→ 2412.86 m²

Cost of levelling = Area x rate

→ 2412.86 x 5

→ Rs.12064.3

Hence cost of levelling is Rs. 12064.3
