Perimeter of rectangle = 2(120+90)

240+ 180=

420m

Perimeter of square = 420m

4×Side 420m

Side =420/4

Side = 105m

Area of rectangle=120×90=10800m

Area of square=105×105=11025m

Then, the area of square is greater than area of rectangle.

Answer:

The cost of painting a rectangular truck, whose measurements are 90 cm x 60 cm x 45 cm at the rate of 200 per square metre. is Rs 486.

Step-by-step explanation:

Dimensions are 90cm × 60cm × 45cm

T.S.A = 2(lb + bh + hl)

= 2(90× 60 + 60× 45 + 45×90)

= 2(5400 + 2700 + 4050)

= 2(12150)

= 2 × 12150

= 24300

(1m² = 10000cm²)

(24300/10000) = 2.43m square

T.S.A = 24300 cm square = 2.43 m square

Painting if for Rs.200 per m square

= 200  × 2.43 = Rs. 486
