Heya !

Here's your answer !!

GIVEN THAT :

Length of the room = 10 m

Breadth of the room = 5 m

Height of the room = 6 m

Rate of painting per metre sq. = Rs. 4

TO FIND :

Cost of painting of the four walls of the room.

SOLUTION :

First we will find the area of tue four walls.

The formula to be used is :

Lateral Surface Area of the Room that is cuboidal.

LSA = 2 ( l + b ) × h

=> 2 ( 10 + 5 ) × 6

=> 2 ( 15 ) × 6

=> 30 × 6

=> 180 m^2

__________________________

The area of the four walls is 180m^2

Now, the cost of the painting :

180 × 4

=> Rs. 720 ANS
