Find the cost of painting the four walls of a room 10m long 5m broad and 6m high at the cost 4 per square metres

The room is like a type of cuboid remove the area of the roof and floor we need the area of the 4 walls

so the shortest wall would be 6 x 5 = 30mx^{2}

then the longest wall would be 10 x 5 =50mx^{2}

multiply them by 2 because there are is another wall on the opposite side so its

50mx^{2} x 2 = 100x^{2}

30mx^{2} x 2 = 60mx^{2}

add them together 100 + 60 = 160mx^{2}

divide it by 4

160m ÷ 4 = 40

since you didn't give the cost of painting the walls just multiply the cost per square meter by 40 then there is your answer
