As the room is a cuboid ,
so, we have to find the lateral surface area of the cuboid i.e,four walls of the room,
so,
we know that lateral surface area of a cuboid(in this case a room) =2h(l+b)
Length (l)=16m
Breadth(b)=12m
Height(h)=8m
by applying the formula we get,
2*8(16+12)
= 16*28
=448 m^2
now, it is given that to paper the wall with 2m wide paper
so,
448÷2=224
papering at Rs. 50 per metre
so,224×50= Rs.11,200

Answer:
area of 4 walls=2h(l+b)
=2*8(16+12)=448
wide is 2m
so we get
448÷2=224
Step-by-step explanation:
rate of papering =50/m^2
cost of papering =50*224=11200
