So, Radius of the table-top (r)

= 1.6/2 m = 0.8 m

Therefore, Area of the table-top

= πr² = 3.14 × (0.8)²m²

= 3.14 × 0.64 m²

So, Rate of polishing = Rs. 15 per m²

Hence, Cost of polishing the table-top

= Rs. 2.0096 × 15 = Rs. 30.144

= Rs. 30.14 (approx.) .

Radius = 0.8m

Area of circle

= πr²

= 3.14 × 0.64 = 2.0096m²

 

Rate of polishing per meter square = Rs.15

∴ Cost of polishing table top

= 15 × 2.0096

= 30.14m²
