Answer:

₹3000

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of flooring :

\implies A=l×b

\implies A=7.5×6

\implies A=45\:m^{2}

Area of square tiles :

\implies  A=l^{2}

\implies A=0.3×0.3 (30cm = 0.3m)

\implies  A=0.09\:m^{2}

No. of tiles :

\implies Tiles=\Large\frac{A\:of\:floor}{A\:of\:tiles}

\implies Tiles=\Large\frac{45}{0.09}

\implies Tiles=500

Cost of tiles :

\implies Cost=500×6

\implies \boxed{Cost=3000\:Rupees}

Flooring of the room costs 3000.

SOLUTION:-

Given:

The flooring a room is 7.5m by 6m square tiles of side 30cm at the rate of Rs.6/tiles.

To find:

The cost of the flooring a room.

Explanation:

We have,

  • Length of the floor,L= 7.5m
  • Breadth of the floor,B= 6m

In metres:

Length of floor= 7.5×100= 750cm.

Breadth of floor= 6×100= 600cm.

Area of the floor: Length × Breadth

Area of the floor= 750cm × 600cm

Area of the floor= 450000cm².

&

Length of each side of Square tile=30cm

Area of square tile= [Side]²

Area of Square tile= [30cm]²

Area of square tile= 900cm².

Now,

Number of tiles:

 \frac{Area \: of \: floor}{Area \: of \: one \: tile}  =  \frac{450000}{900}  \\  \\ Number \: of \: tiles = 500

Cost of 1 tile is Rs.6

Cost of 500 tiles= Rs.(6 × 500)

Cost of 500 tiles= Rs.3000.
