find the cost of tiling a field 32 metre long and 20 m wide at rupees 4.75 per square metre also find the cost of fencing it at 75 paise per metre​

In the above question the length and breadth of a rectangular field are given and it is asked to find the cost of tiling and fencing the field and for tiling we will find area and for fencing we will find perimeter and then here is the answer:-

Length(L) = 32 m

Breadth(B) = 20 m

Area = L×B

= 32×20

= 640 m²

Rate of tiling = ₹4.75 per m²

Cost = ₹4.75×640

= ₹3040

Perimeter = 2(L+B)

= 2(32+20)

= 2×52

= 104 m

Rate of fencing = ₹0.75 per m

Cost = ₹0.75×104

= ₹78
