Find the cp when sp is RS 634 and gain is 12%

we have given that :
gain % = 12 % 
and 
S.P = 634 

solution:-
we know that ;
Gain% = [ gain * 100 / C.P ]
and 
gain =( S.P - C.P )

here,
Gain % = [( S.P - C.P ) * 100 / C.P ]

Accoprding to given:

12 = [ (634 - C.P ) * 100 / C.P]

=> 12 C.P = 63400 - 100 C.P 

=> 112 C.P = 63400

=> C.P = 566 answer
