EXPLANATION.

Slant height of a cone = 21 m.

Diameter of its base of cone = 24 m.

As we know that,

Diameter = 2 x radius.

radius = Diameter/2.

radius = 24/2 = 12 m.

Radius of its base of cone = 12 m.

Formula of :

Curved surface area of cone = πrl.

Using this formula in the equation, we get.

⇒ 22/7 x 12 x 21.

⇒ 22 x 12 x 3 = 792 m².

Curved surface area of cone = 792 m².
