The cube of the following numbers are-
(2/3)³ = 8/27
(4)³ = 64
Solution,
- A cube number is generally a result obtained number is multiplied by itself two times. For example,
- Suppose a number x is multiplied by itself once, then we obtain the square of a number i.e. (x²), and then if it is multiplied by itself for the second time we get a cube of a number i.e. (x³).
- Mathematically it can be represented as,
(a)³ = a × a × a = a³.
- Similarly,
⇒ (2/3)³ = (2/3) × (2/3) × (2/3) = 8/27
⇒ (4)³ = 4 × 4 × 4 = 64.
