= 30 ohm

now the 30 ohm and 10 ohm resistor are in parallel

1/R = 4 / 30

R = 7.5 ohm

hence the equivalent resistance is 7.5 ohm

now current = voltage / equivalent resistance

= 3/7.5

= 0.4 Ampere
