Find the current drawn in the circuit of resistors connected in series of 5 ohm and 10 ohm and potential difference is 20 V. Also draw the circuit diagram.

Solution:

Since, the resistances are in series, we will add them to get equivalent resistance.

Total resistance= 10+5=15ohm

Now by the formula V=IR

We have, 20= I x 15

=> I = 20/15

=>I = 4/3 ampere
