➡When Series  

R = R1 + R2

R = 20 + 20

R = 40 ohm

V = R × I ( Ohm's law )

I = V / R

I = 220 / 40 =  5.5 amp

➡When parallel  

1 / R = 1 / 20 + 1 / 20

1 / R = 2 / 20

1 / R = 1 / 10

R = 10 ohm

I = V / R

I = 220 / 10

I = 22 Amp
