therefore, total resistance in the circuit = R1 +R2
=20+15=35 ohm
voltage ,V = 7V
we have to find, the total current (I) in the circuit
I= V/R = 7/35
I= 0.2 AMPERE
Now p.d. across 20 ohm is given by
V= I*R
V= 0.2 * 20 = 4 VOLT
