Formula used:
- Curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh
- Total surface area of cylinder = 2πr( h + r )
Solution:
Curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh
= 2 × 22/7 × 5 × 25
= 5500/7
= 785.71 cm
Total surface area of cylinder = 2πr ( h + r )
= 22/7 × 5 ( 25 + 5 )
= 22/7 × 5 × 30
= 3300/7
= 471.42 cm
