Find the curved surface area and total surface area of a right circular cylinder
whese height is 15 cm and the radius of the base is 7 cm.​

Solution :-

Radius of the base of the cylinder ( r ) = 7 cm

Height of the cylinder ( h ) = 15 cm

CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

 = 2 \times  \dfrac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 15

= 2 * 22 * 15

= 22 * 30

= 660 cm²

TSA of the cylinder = 2πr(h + r)

 =  2 \times \dfrac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times (15 + 7)

= 2 * 22 * 22

= 44 * 22

= 968 cm²

Hence, curved area of cylinder is 660 cm² and total surface area of cylinder is 968 cm².
