find the curved surface area and total surface area of a right circular cylinder whose height is 15cm and the radius of the base is 7cm .

Height of cylinder = 15 cm

And,

Radius of cylinder = 7 cm



Curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrH


=> 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 15


=> ( 2 × 22 × 15 ) cm².


=> 660 cm .


And,


Total surface area of cylinder = 2πr ( r + h )



=> 2 × 22/7 × 7 ( 7 + 15 )


=> ( 44 × 22 ) cm².


=> 968 cm².
