We know that volume of the cylinder = πr2h Here r = 7cm h = 50cm V = 22/7 × 7 × 7 × 50 V = 22 × 7 × 50 V = 7700 cm3

Also we know that curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh Curved surface area = 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 50 Curved surface area = 2200 cm2

We know that total surface area of cylinder = 2πr(r + h) Total surface area = 2 × 22/7 × 7 (7 + 50) Total surface area = 2580 cm2

Answer :-

  • The curved surface area of cylinder is 308cm².

Step-by-step explanation :

To Find :-

  • The curved surface area of cylinder

Solution :-

Given that,

  • Radius of cylinder = 7cm
  • Height of cylinder = 7cm

According the question,

As we know that,

Curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh sq. units,

Where,

  • r = Radius
  • h = Height

=> Curved surface area = 2πrh

=> 2πrh

=> 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 7

Dividing 7 and 7 with 7

=> 2 × 22 × 7

=> 44 × 7

=> Curved surface area = 308cm²

  • The curved surface area of cylinder is 308cm².

Some more information related to cylinder :-

  • Volume of cylinder = πr²h cubic units.

  • Curved surface area = 2πrh sq. units.

  • Total surface area = 2πr ( h + r ) sq. units.

Here,

  • r = Radius
  • h = Height
