Sol.) • Given,
Radius of a cylinder = 10 cm
Volume of a cylinder = 500 cm³.
• To find,
Curved Surface Area (CSA) of a cylinder.
• Calculation,
Volume of a cylinder = πr²h
500 = 22/7 x (10)² x h
(500 x 7)/(22 x 100) = h
h = 35/22 cm
CSA of a cylinder = 2πrh
= 2 x 22/7 x 10 x 35/22
= 2 x 10 x 5
= 100 cm² Ans.
