Given:

  • Slant height, l = 10 cm

  • Base radius of cone,r = 7 cm

Find the Curved surface area of a right circular cone?

Formula used:

Curved surface area = πrl

Solution:

Curved surface area = πrl

= 22/7 × 7 × 10

= 22 × 10

= 220 cm²

Hence, the Curved surface area of given cone is 220 cm².

Additional information:

  • Total surface area of cone = π × r ( l + r )

  • volume of cone = 1/3 × π × r² × h

  • Surface area of sphere = 4 × π × r²

  • Volume of sphere = 4/3 × π × r³
