Given :

  • Slant height of the cone = 10 cm.
  • Radius of the cone = 7 cm.

To find :

  • Curved surface area of the cone.

Solution :

  • Radius = 7 cm
  • Slant height = 10 cm.

Formula Used :-

{\boxed{\bold{C.S.A\:of\:cone=\pi\:r\:l}}}

Where,

  • r = radius
  • l = slant height

\implies\sf{C.S.A=\dfrac{22}{7}\times\:7\times\:10\:cm^2}

\implies\sf{C.S.A=22\times\:10\:cm^2}

\implies\sf{C.S.A=220\:cm^2}

Therefore, the curved surface area of the right circular cone is 110 cm².

More information :-

• T.S.A of cone = πr(r+l)

• Volume of cone = 1/3 πr²h

• T.S.A of cylinder = 2πr(h+r)

• Volume of cylinder = πr²h

• C.S.A of cylinder = 2πrh

Answer:

220 cm²

Explanation:

Slant height of cone ( l ) = 10 cm

Base radius ( r) = 7 cm

CSA of cone = πrl sq.units

= 22/7 × 7 × 10

= 22 × 10

= 220 cm²

Therefore the curved surface area of cone is 220 cm².
