Find the curved surface area of a right circular cone whose slant height is 10 cm and Base is 7cm.

\huge \underline \mathfrak\pink {Answer}

Given :-

• Height = 7cm

• Radius = 10 cm

Find:-

• The curved surface area of the cone

Solution :-

As we know ,curved surface area

= \pi×radius ×length

= \frac {22}{7}× 7 × 10

= 220 cm square

The answer is hence 220 cm square.

\huge\underline\mathrm{SOLUTION:-}

AnswEr:

  • The curved surface area of a right circular cone = 220 Cm².

Given:

  • Slant height of a right circular cone is 10 Cm.
  • Radius of a right circular cone is 7 Cm.

Need To Find:

  • The curved surface area of a right circular cone = ?

ExPlanation:

According to the given question:

  • Radius of the cone = 7 Cm
  • Slant height = 10 Cm

Formula used here:

  • Curved surface area of cone = πrl

Putting the values according to the given formula:

\mathsf {C.S.A = \frac{22}{7} \times 7 \times 10\:Cm^2}

\mathsf {C.S.A = 22 \times 10\:Cm^2}

{\underline{\boxed{\sf{C.S.A = 220\:Cm^2}}}}

Hence:

  • The curved surface area of a right circular cone is 220 Cm².

Additional Information:

HeRe,

  • R is used for Radius.
  • L is used for Length.
  • C.S.A is used for Curved surface area.

  • Curved surface area of cone = πrl
