Find the curved surfae area of a right circular cone with 3 cm radius and 4cm height

radius=3 cm

and, height= 4 cm

curve surface area of cone = πrl

now we have to find ,l

so,

l =  \sqrt{ {r}^{2} +  {h}^{2}  }

l =  \sqrt{ {3}^{2} +  {4}^{2}  }  \\  =  \sqrt{9 + 16 }   \\  =  \sqrt{25}  \\  = 5cm

CSA of cone =

csa \: of \: cone \:  = \pi \: rl \\   = \frac{22}{7}  \times 3 \times 5 \\  =  \frac{330}{7}  \\  = 47.14 {cm}^{2}
