180°- ( 50°+70° ) = 60° = angle ACB ( sum of all the interior angles of triangle is 180°)

180°-60° = 120° = angle ECD ( because angle ACB and ECD are linear pair angles )

180°- ( 22°+120°) = 38° = angle DEC
