Find the decimal expansion of 22/7. Explain why it is taken as the approximate value of π

π is an irrational number, i.e., non repeating and non terminating.....so the actual value cannot be used for calculations.

Thus an approximate value is taken into consideration.

Decimal expansion of 22/7=3.14

It is taken approximate π because in a circle if we divide D/R or H ,represent as π.
