find the decimal representation of 1/11 and deduce from it the decimal representation of 2/3, 3/11 and 7/11.

1/11, 2/11, 3/11 and 7/11.

To Find:

The decimal representation of the given number.

Solution:

1) To find the decimal representation of 1/11 we will divide the 1 by the 11.

2) After dividing we will get the decimal of 1/11 as 0.0909 .

3) Now we will find the decimal representation of 2/11  by just multiplying 2 with the decimal representation of 1/11 hence we get 0.1818 .

4) we will find the decimal representation of 3/11  by just multiplying 3 with the decimal representation of 1/11 hence we get 0.2727 .

5) At the end again we find the decimal representation of 7/11  by just multiplying 7 with the decimal representation of 1/11 hence we get 0.6363 .

The decimal representation of 1/11, 2/11, 3/11 and 7/11 are 0.0909, 0.1818, 0.2727, 0.6363 respectively.
