find the degree of polynomial x cube + 3 x minus 1 divided by 5 minus 5 by 2 x square minus x power 5 please solve

Answer:

f(x)=x³+[(3x-1)/5]-(5/2x²)-x^5

degree of polynomial is the highest power of any polynomial f(x)

therefore degree of f(x)=5

=x^3 + 3x - 1/5 - 5/2x - x^5

=x^3 (1/x^3 + 3/x^2 - 1/x^3)/x^5(5/=x^5 - 3/x^7 - 1/ x^10)

=x^3/x^5

=1/x^2

=x^-2

so degree is -2
